Tech Quickies [April 28th, 2010]

Here’s some of my favorite links for the day. Hope you like em too!

1) Make any page look like it’s from the 1990′s with Geocities-izer! Be warned — it’s cute for the first few seconds, then it gets horribly annoying.

2) Spinal Tape: No, not Spinal Tap. It’s Spinal Tape. You’ll know when you click on the link. ;)

3) Motorola has rolled out a new, dual-screen cell phone that can display 3D images. This is the first that the world has ever seen! It will be called “Ming.”

4) Samsung says that there are some health risks for watching the 3D tv. Hmmm…I guess we’ll see how much of a problem the 3D tv really poses once more people begin to use it.

5) This robot is not only being controlled by brainwaves, but it’s being controlled by brainwaves via Skype. Now that’s the future.

6) Artist Ben Heine has done a compilation called “Drawing vs. Photography,” showing his drawings superimposed on photographies in a cute and novel way. You’ve gotta see this!
