This is a cute field guide for the proper etiquette for various Apple devices.
Bottom line: Macbook sucks for both home and the outdoors, while the iPad is a win for everywhere.
Are there any assumptions that you disagree with?
Personally, I don’t see a problem with using any of these devices in the bed. :p
